Freelight biography
US band FREELIGHT was formed by Stephen Freelight in 1972, based in Maui, and for the next five years his band entertained rock and roll turists and was a vacation home to quite a few musicians. This according to the sparse information available about this band.
Apparently some material was recorded at the time as well, but at would appear that it wasn't released at the time. But in 1995 the CD "Wave of Great Change" appeared, documenting the endeavours of this band and with a marketing emphasizing the contributions of Michael Pinder (The Moody Blues), Bernie Leadon (The Eagles) and Don Felder (The Eagles). Following the release of this production Stephen Freelight released some solo albums of a rather different character, from descriptions much closer to Country in terms of stylistic direction.
