The Damnation Project biography
THE DAMNATION PROJECT is a band from Greece formed in 2009 by Michail KATSAROS and Ioannis DEGDEKIS (vocals and guitars). George POLYZOS replaced KATSAROS on bass with Ioannis KAKANIS (keyboards) who came from the band KASTALIA PIGI in 2011. Then a new drummer came in and called 'WHOOL'. The self-titled album was released in May 2012 by Musea Records with 8 songs.

The music is a progressive metal that incorporates ethnic, Greek and folk elements in a melancholic and dark atmosphere that takes you on a journey to some foreign country. The band has developed a sound that works on experimentation and remind us of bands like TOOL and PINK FLOYD with a dose of electronic elements.
