Jebel biography
Jebél emerged in the Summer of 2006 from the Los Angeles & Orange County areas with a musical style described as progressive rock with psychedelic, ambient and experimental undertones. They independently released an EP titled I Mean You No Harm in '06, and after winning the grand prize at the 2008 Battle of the Bands (The New University 'Battle for Wayzgoose Stage'), they released their debut full-length studio album, 'Trip the Night Fantastic'.

Kevin, Shane, Josh, Rob, and Johnny (Curtis Marrero took over on drums when Johnny joined the United States Air Force) are 5 friends who grew up together in the city of La Canada near Los Angeles and formed Jébel. They built a strong following in Los Angeles and Orange County with gigs at The Whisky and The Roxy on Sunset Blvd, and opened for bands like Del the Funky Homosapien and People Under the Stairs.

An unusual aspect of their performances was that they were joined onstage by artist Nikolas Kazoura, who also provided the cover.
