Filthy Habits Ensemble biography
FILTHY HABITS ENSEMBLE was created in Barcelona in 2008 as a means to perform some of Zappa´s compositions in an instrumental format for a jazz-rock ensemble. An octet consisting of a powerful four piece wind section and an adventurous rhythm section. The band contains some members from October Equus and Planeta Imaginario. For their third release they have broadened out into playing Avant-Chamber pieces based on Stravinsky's Suite of L'Histoire Du Soldat but bringing their own sound to the material.
