Ned Lagin & Phil Lesh biography
In 1975 a curious electronic album entitled Sea Stones was released upon the world by American Ned Lagin, and Phil Lesh (of Grateful Dead fame). Sea Stones exists firmly in the realm of Avant-Garde, as it is filled with odd electronic beeps and glitches, as well as abstract ambient dronings from an assortment of various analog synthesizers. The album also features the use of more traditional instruments such as guitar and voice, albeit highly treated. There are also some other very noteworthy persons making guest appearances on this album, Jerry Garcia from Grateful Dead is here, as well as David Crosby, and Grace Slick. A fantastic and worthy album for cult music enthusiasts.
