Entropia Utopia biography
ENTROPIA UTOPIA were formed in Thessaloniki, Greece in 2001. They released a couple of demos in 2004 and 2005 (the second being release of the month in Metal Hammer, Greece) and in 2006 supported DEAD SOUL TRIBE on stage. 2007 saw all members, except for founder Stamatis PRATSINAKIS (vocals, flute), leaving the band. After a long hiatus the band returns in September 2014 with their first full album ''The Flourishing Of Thesis And Antithesis'' and a new line-up, including Lefteris MARKANTONATOS (guitars, bass), George BALTAS (drums) and Maria LOTI (backing vocals).

ENTROPIA UTOPIA blend influences of traditional progressive metal with eclectic and prog folk, reminiscent of acts such as PSYCHOTIC WALTZ and a more lyrical, mellow, side akin to the likes of RIVERSIDE or PAIN OF SALVATION.
