Vibracathedral Orchestra biography
Vibracathedral Orchestra (VCO) formed in 1997 in Leeds England. VCO were formed when Michael Flower began recording with Julian Bradley and Neil Campbell. Bridget Hayden and Adam Davenport were soon added to the line-up, and VCO has had Matthew Bower and John Godbert as well as others make guest appearances on VCO albums.The sound of Vibracathedral Orchestra is heavily influenced by 60's and 70's droneologists such as Tony Conrad, LaMonte Young, and Pauline Oliveros, as well as being highly influenced by the krautrock movement with repetitive rhythms and and a mix of Avant-Garde and Folk.
