Landscape biography
LANDSCAPE is a Polish Crossover Prog band formed in 2006 in Warsaw. Initially it was founded by Peter LINEN, Sebastian WOLF and Bartosz TURKOWSKI. A year later the three musicians were joined by Sebastian SZTARK, who complemented the music with old analog synthesizers and helped to create the characteristic sound of the band. With this line-up the band went to DBX Studio in Warsaw and recorded two instrumental songs in the beginning of 2008.

Then they were joined by Matthew ISKANDAR and with his vocals full of expression and serious texts perfectly complemented the sound of the band.

The music of LANDSCAPE can be described as a mix of Hard Rock and electronics. The band, however, follows a path of continuous research as they create their own unique style.

In 2010 there were personnel changes and the bass player Bartosz TUREK was replaced by Maciej GLADZINSKI. The band started to play concerts and work on new material.

LANDSCAPE played many concerts and participated in numerous festivals, among them: Widzewskiej Jesieni Muzycznej, Dobrej Stronie Rocka, Festiwalu Zderzak and Wawa Rock Day. The band also played together with great Polish names such as TURBO, CARRION and TSA. In 2008 they got a 2nd place at the festival Dobra Strona Rocka, also in the same year the band embarked in a one week tour in Denmark. Individual success is also part of LANDSCAPE, guitarist Peter LINEN won the award for best guitar player for the year 2010 at the Rock Alert Festiwal in Lubartów and in Lodz at the Widzew Musical Autumn.
