AtroruM biography
ATRORUM is a progressive metal band initially founded in 2003. Based out of Munich, Germany, the band released two full length albums, ''Himmelsstürmer'' in 2004 and ''Exhibition'' in 2006 before they went on hiatus due to commitments to other projects. Four years later, the band reformed and work began on a third full-length. Recorded at Iguana Studios, the resulting release was called ''Structurae'', which came out in 2015.

Using black metal as a base, the band incorporates numerous avant garde influences into their sound, featuring plenty of piano wizardry and shifts into genres far removed from metal. Progressive rock also plays a strong role in their style, and both clean and harsh vocals are utilized which further makes their brand of metal difficult to classify.

This two-man group consists of vatroS on guitars, bass, clean vocals and programming, and umbrA performs vocals, keyboards and also programming.
