Blueprint Human Being were a short-lived extreme progressive metal quartet from Tampere, Finland. They began in 2000 as Devilish Decibels before changing their name and style in 2002, ultimately only releasing three demos before going on indefinite hiatus in 2005. Prior to their break, their most recent lineup consisted of Erno Taipale and Matti Minkkinen on guitars, Marko Syvänen on drums and bassist Sami Harju on vocals. Their earliest material was an angular and experimental black metal similar to Ved Buens Ende. Their second demo, Heaven is All, would get an "official" release on the Paradigms Recordings label in 2006. The album saw the band undergoing another stylistic shift, with more pronounced RIO and avant-prog influences. Blueprint Human Being's eclectic sound will intrigue listeners of Ved Buens Ende, Fleurety, King Crimson, Univers Zero and Art Zoyd.

I submitted this group for inclusion back in 2013, but despite a warm reception from an admin and a Progfreak page I don't believe it ever went for a vote. Also I hope it's okay I uploaded their first demo, it's been out of print for nearly two decades.

I see the team's looking to relocate this one - are you thinking RIO/Avant? Maybe Eclectic?
I voted move to RIO/Avant. I loved the album I listened to, too! Great stuff, and without doubt deserving a place in PA, but not within the Prog Metal genres. I can see why it was put forward for Experimental, but it really would be a better fit in RIO/Avant,

So glad you all like them - I love when underrated gems like this get the recognition they deserve. And thanks for your patience with the subgenre dance; I was definitely torn between which one to settle on.
