Schleigho (pronounced "shlay-ho") were a progressive jazz rock / fusion group out of New York City that existed from the early nineties until around 2004. The core of the band were drummer Erik Egol, flutist/guitarist Suke Cerulo, and jazz pianist Jesse Gibbon. There was a revolving door of bassists throughout their active existence, all of which were talented musicians. The band's sound was a mixture of mostly instrumental jazz rock / fusion, progressive rock, and funk.
Schleigho were a powerful sonic force, exhibiting incredible musicianship and engaging compositions. Like some other jazz / rock fusion bands of the 1990's, such as Soulive and Galactic, Scheigho drew inspiration from the jazz rock / fusion of the 1970's, but with an updated, more modern-sounding twist. Its compositions were very progressive, with many twists and turns, and incorporating odd time-signatures.
After three self-released albums the band signed to Allman Brothers Band's guitarist Butch Trucks' Flying Frog record label (now defunct) and released the superb "Continent" in 2000, followed by their final release, "Live at Ho-Down 2000" in 2001. While their earlier releases included some mediocre vocals here and there, by the release of "Continent," the music had, wisely, become entirely instrumental. The "Ho-Down" was the band's 3-year running annual festival concert held in Wendell, MA. Schleigho enjoyed some regional success in the northeastern United States, touring with several jam-bands of the era, even though they were not a jam band at all. The band wound down its active existence around 2004, but has periodically reunited for gigs over the years.

Thank you for providing a biography. We really need a link to an album (or more) to sample in order to do a proper evaluation for potential inclusion.
Thanks.
