Completely unknown British band formed in 1972.

From the liner-notes of recently released archival CD "Ages Come and Ages Go" on Seelie Court (2021, SCD 022):
As You Like It played an ornate and pastoral form of Progressive Rock in the early-mid Seventies., various band members had formerly been in Bruin, Tales of Justine and the Syndicate, and supported bands such as Supertramp, If and Skin Alley.
Almost signed by RCA, their recordings were never released, and are a genuine treat for fans of Gentle Giant, Yes, Spring, England - "Garden Shed", Genesis and Fantasy - "Paint A Pictures".

Obviously the references to Gentle Giant, Yes, Genesis are overblown. I would compare them to bands like Deep Feeling, Quicksand, Fantasy and to some extent with Beggars Opera.
Very pleasant, song oriented progressive rock with Hammond organ, mellotron and clavinet. Beautiful vocal harmonies (all band members sang):
Martin Paine - guitar, vocals
Paul King - drums, vocals
John Ellis - keyboards, vocals
Paul Vincent Myerson - bass, vocals

One song by As You Like It is included on the Various Artists -CD compilation boxset called Lullabies For Catatonics: A Journey Through The British Avant-Pop/Art Rock Scene 1967-74 (2019, Grapefruit Records).

I didn't find any other songs by them on YT, but I bought the CD, so I can post some samples for you. Just PM me.

^ Surprisingly good and cohesive album. I bought the CD two weeks ago and already played it 4 times. 8 demo tracks included on the CD were recorded between 1973-75, self-produced by the band. With better, professional production, they would have much better chance to get signed.
