   A self-described "avant pop rock" group, Queen Crony are an American quintet from Boston, Massachusetts, founded in 2018. Queen Crony consist of vocalist Jolee Gordon, guitarist Matthew Okun, bassist Grace Ward, trumpeter/keyboardist Rubin Hohlbein and drummer Brad Barteau, playing a technical, noisy and hyperactive style of math rock, reflective of their influences such as Deerhoof, Naked City, Melt-Banana, Mr. Bungle, Caetano Veloso and Rong. Queen Crony independently released their debut EP, Scrony Body, in 2019, with ERASED! Tapes issuing their first full-length, Horse Pony, in late 2020.
Fans of Cardiacs, Guerilla Toss, Hellier Ulysses, Bent Knee, Luge and Deerhoof are encouraged to listen further.
