Odd band one of my friends recently found out about, from Sweden. Play instrumental music with accordion, mallets, drums of course, and synth or theramin

they have 2 albums and an EP

and youtube channel

not sure if they qualify at all for inclusion Tongue

Anyway, good band but hard to classify I feel ... fit for Folk? Confused

I'm not so sure that just because there is an accordion it fits into folk... I was thinking more, perhaps xover

And why is that? I wasn't sure where to put them so I notified two teams which might want to take them IMO. So, let 'em fight for 'em. Tongue

Teams are not supposed to evaluate the same artist in the same time.

Yeah, they don't fit in with progressive rock... Sounds like a chanson-based indie band. Reminds me of Yann Tiersen and Jay Jay Johanson (who's also Swedish, I don't think it's a coincidence). Nice stuff!

They're not evaluating for the moment. Only a day has passed, most normal people prefer to hang out and do stuff on weekends Wink

My own evaluation (as the sole member of the New Bands team Tongue

) is that the band isn't progressive rock, my envolvement with this suggestion being therefore done now.
