Swedish band with one album in 1974.
Actually they have this one song on a compilation here: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=22343 I found some info and google translated it from swedish: Pandora was founded in 1971 in Norrköping by drummer Bertil Jonsson and guitarist Urban Götling, later came the singer Peter Hjelm, pianist Janne "Flojda" Dockner and bassist Bjorn Malmqvist. Götling matured quite early by Åke Rolf (formerly H2O) and Leif Hellqvist. This line-up recorded the LP "Measures of Time" in 1974 which today is a very difficult found symphonic gem. The group played harder rock music in the style of Uriah Heep from the start but then went over to the more symphonic crash and later elements from jazz, rock, when Ulf Stern and Gunnar Hermelin came up with. Pandora became the inspiration for such Tribute band whose members Gideon Andersson and Per Ramsby were frequent visitors to their concerts. Ramsby jumped even as a replacement for Uffe Stern a few gigs. Band from which the group drew inspiration included the Genesis, King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Camel, Wishbone Ash, Jethro Tull, Uriah Heep, and Weather Report. Singer Peter Hjelm was very influenced by Peter Gabriel. 1976 ended Hellqvist to slide into the dance turn as his girlfriend thought it was impossible to dance to Pandora's music. Ended up also made Björn Malmqvist who entered the Music Academy. New members were keyboard player Ulf Stern and bassist Gunnar Hermelin (formerly Madeira). This line appeared 3/1-1979 in P3s Tonkraft and recorded the single "Power and the Glory." The ordande also concerts in the Auditorium in Norrköping together with bands like "Thirty Years War" and "Kaipa". Pandora ran over the years and the record store "Rock Act" at Nygatan in Norrköping. The deal was a small cultural center of the disc freaks, will gather in, take a coffee and talk music. The store went bankrupt 1980th The band broke up around 1980, and Janne, Uffe and later Åke Rolf and Gunnar Hermelin continued with rock band 'Flojd & The Boys "which has existed since -75. Björn Malmqvist is now playing in the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra. |

I'm having trouble hearing this as progressive. Easily art pop/rock, but not terribly progressive. And seemingly not enough for inclusion for PA.
