Spectrum Orchestrum (formed in 2007, Lille) lies at the crossroads of progressive rock, free jazz, experimental and improvised music. 
CD series Improvisarium reflects exclusively improvised and experimental nature of their music (limited to 50 copies edition) (3 volumes available). Influences are progressive, free jazz, experimental and improvised music. Their youth was spent under the influence of King Crimson, Magma, Frank Zappa, Led Zeppelin, Soft Machine, John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, Faust, John Zorn, Fred Frith, Guapo, Aka Moon, Chrome Hoof, Secret Chiefs 3 , The Mars Volta. https://www.facebook.com/SpectrumOrchestrum
