Kazachstán is a five-piece progressive rock band from Ostrava, Czech Republic.

"This music you have listened to the rest. Maybe you it will freeze. Forget the mainstream and screech zhlouplých fans. What can you expect?

Intelligent , emotional artrock that brings more tracks with a distinct concept works. It draws inspiration mainly in the 70s, especially with Floyd . Dominated connection electric and acoustic guitars, but also can hear the violin , trumpet or flute Bulgarian kaval .

Why Kazakhstan ? The drummer of the band attended this happen often , but perhaps fatally , too , because in the depths of this music is desolate steppe, east , distance, nostalgia . And the fear of nature and modern civilization that it can destroy .

The source and the counterpoint of the music are poetic texts Jaroslava veins, associated , as well as their author , with countryside of Beskydy and stories of people who have lived here for centuries .

If you are looking for expressive, neprvoplánovou music, then Kazakhstan is your band ."

It's a real shame that Marty isn't still in the Crossover team - with such excellent music as this, and as a fellow-countryman, he would have voted 'yes' in an instant, I'm sure - and he would have been a huge asset to the team in putting together a biography for the band.  Hopefully he will still keep in touch with the guys in the team, and he may still be able to help them out when the time comes. His last log-in was about 11 days ago.

Thanks Scott, both for adding to chart and for the quick (as always Approve) decision. Off to a good start! http://progfreak.com/Kazachst%C3%A1n-159022.html?path=pa/recentThumbs Up
