"Alpha" was the first song I remember to ever make me cry because of how beautiful it was, and in searching for it (knowing only the name of the artist) a family member gave me a copy of the album Oceanic, the first CD I ever got. I feel rotten for giving his last album such a negative review, so I'll instead encourage everyone to listen to the one song which I really liked from it: Edited by Mirakaze - May 19 2022 at 13:05 |

"Music is much like f**king, but some composers can't climax and others climax too often, leaving themselves and the listener jaded and spent."

Amos Goldberg (professor of Genocide Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem): Yes, it's genocide. It's so difficult and painful to admit it, but we can no longer avoid this conclusion.

I've always loved the music of Vangelis and what turned out to be his last album - "From Juno to Jupiter" - was one of his finest.

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |

I'm a bit shocked. Another great musician left us too soon. I always loved is style, both technical and compositional.
RIP hard. |
