Last time I checked, Orion is a constellation of stars, plural. There are few selections, if any, on the list that refer to a specific star. |
If you are going to say Orion represents stars when stars actually represent Orion then nearly any song tile could be up there.

^I don't know what represents what in that song, I don't understand what you mean by that, Ian, but to me it's pretty clear that JT's song 'Orion' has got something to do with the star sign with the same name.
Orion, won't you give me your star sign Orion, get up on the sky-line

Well if the song is about the constellation then that's different i guess.
How about Star of Sirius by Hackett?

Yeah, I can read. The question is what kind of star we are talking about. A movie star?
I checked the lyrics, and I would say that that one also could have been in the poll.

Nothing to do with the lyrics. This is the poll question
What's your favourite track with stars/astral/stellar in its title?

You can't be serious in your last sentence! To each his own, my friend. Accept's "Starlight" is one of those "driving down the Autobahn at top speed" songs that can't be beat. Who says you can't love something heavy metal and also embrace prog at the same time, anyway?

Snowie is right. I was trying my best at irony, but yeah..... it's the internet. Gandalf's reply was probably just a bubble, but I don't find it funny. Accept are great, and I would fight to my last breath of life for peoples' right to listen to what they love. Not what others do.

^Thanks for your reply, Guldbamsen. No hard feelings.
Thought of a couple of other prog song references not mentioned previously
See Into The Stars-Andromeda
Stars On The Stage-Brainstorm
