I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

A great LP , highly underrated, I voted for the whole stuff
a group recording music of difficult access and appreciation; in our time such an artistic approach is unlikely

The whole album is very good, but side one kick some serious @ss.
Of the two I'm giving my vote to Second Spasm for what I suspect is some pretty nifty Clavinet playing.
Thank you for supporting independently produced music

All equally - not only is there not a bad track, there is not a bad moment. Wonderful album.
The world of sound is certainly capable of infinite variety and, were our sense developed, of infinite extensions. -- George Santayana, "The Sense of Beauty"

I'm not the biggest fan of this album but Lament stands out for me.

Second Spasm, by a gnat's whisker.

Love this album all the way through but ultimately feel that Lament is the high water mark.

I like the whole album, in fact it's an early in my journey "prog" love of mine, but "Lament" is my clear favourite. I have sometimes felt that the album feels too formulaic, inorganic, formally structured, but it I guess it rather evokes a chess match where everything is thought out carefully. I think I've expressed it better in the past, and not thinking straight now. I find not much structural variation between tracks on the album, and I tend to favour Midnight Mushrumps on the whole for the greater variation. Lament is wonderful though and I do very much enjoy all of Red Queen.

I've been a very big Gryphon fan, loving all of the classic studio albums. Gryphon and Focus were probably my first two big Prog loves.
Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

A brilliant album. Each song is equally gorgeous.
