 Topic: Xanadu vs. And You And I

These two songs are similar in length and sound, so which do you like better?
i'd have to say xanadu. it makes me really feel like im searching for a lost utopia whereas and you and i doesnt do much for me.

I don't think they are similar in sound, 'And you and I' has that beautiful, Rich acoustic guitar, and that atmospheric mid section. Whereas 'Xanadu' is more of a hard rocker, With that excellent build up at the start. My vote goes to 'And you and I'

I'm sorry but for me, this is another one of those 'comparing apples with typewriters' situations...
...but I've gone for Xanadu, although I love both tracks.

'And You And I' is the only song that gets a five minute standing ovation when it's played mid-set. Out of all the concerts I've been to, I have never known any other bands song achieve this!

I would choose Xanadu.....why? Simple really. I like it a lot more than "And You and I". In fact I find the Yes one a bit tedious.

I also find And You And I very tedious and i find myself reaching for
the skip button. xanadu is very captivating while "And You and I" has
the impressive acoustic guitar, thats fine, but i can never get the
emotion that most rush songs evoke from Yes. Yes, to me, feels empty
most of the time. plus they totally sold out. "owner of a lonely
heart"? pfft ill pass

sure with technical proficiency and complexity And You And I has rush
beat, but what track makes you FEEL more. xanadu gives me shivers down
my spine, it makes me feel as if i really am searching for "the last
xanadu", that wonderful paradise.
And You And I????, makes me feel absolutely nothing at all...
