12 albums left for this series so 6 polls for this round. Lots of Canterbury left as 9 of the 12 are from that sub-genre. Gong has the most albums remaining at three. Not surprisingly i'm going for Caravan here.

I'm not a big fan of this Caravan album. But Flying Teapot is great and it gets my vote.

From my perspective, this is the toughest of calls. Flying Teapot - completely weird and wonderful - without peer. Land of Grey and Pink, in my mind the archetypel Canterbury album. A toss up for me - if pressed I guess I would have to go with the Land of Grey and Pink.

.......and just because Caravan takes the lead over the Flying Teapot, doesn't suggest that Dingo Virgin's concoctions are any less superior, 'tis just a matter of preference. Were it Khan and Caravan, then I would go for Khan. Then if it were Khan against the Hopper/Gowen album Two Rainbows Daily, then Hopper/Gowen would be 'the one'.

The first side of Grey and Pink defines the Canterbury scene for me. Not quite so keen on 9 Feet Undergound, but still better than anything Gong did.

Flying Teapot is incredible (definitely my favourite Gong album) but that Caravan album is a masterpiece.
