What is a moon child?  A child born at night under the moon?  A werewolf?  A child showing his butt out the car window as he drives by an opposing high school?  Whatever a Moonchild is, many artists have been inspired to perform songs titled as such.  Which of these is your favorite?  How many of these have you actually heard other than the first one, which is quite love it or hate it?

oh that's a toughie...

comes down to Fripp or Gibson... so when the music cancels out...  you have to dig deeper...


when put this way...  it is a no brainer..

who would you rather spend an evening with..

getting your ear talked off all night about  pseudo-philosophical principals of the nature of modern prog

or spending a wonderful evening  with a wholesome young American lady..

the answer?... easy...

I can remember going to the CD store back in the day and they had a sticker on one of Debbie Gibson's CDs that said something along the lines of "You can take Debbie Gibson home with you for $9.99".  We thought that was a pretty good rate.  Anyhow, not as good as Micky's YouTube link, but here is a link to her song in question.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36kjyfHV79o

I've heard the ones by King Crimson, Iron Maiden, Fields of the Nephilim, Chris Cornell and Captain Beefheart, out of which the one by Fields of the Nephilim is the most constantly brilliant.

I've heard KC, Maiden, Nephilim and the Rory Gallagher. Out of the four I voted Maiden 'cos I'm one of apparently many here who doesn't much like the Crimson track.
It's not that I can't find worth in anything, it's just that I can't find worth in enough.

Incidentally, I've heard only 3 of these.  Of those I prefer Iron Maiden's.

John Zorn - an unholy alliance of Mike Patton's wordless vocals plus bass and drums, with Zorn acting as conductor. The follow up, Astronome, is even better.
