Wish You Were Here is a masterpiece, so that pretty much wins it for me.

Neither of these is my favourite run by either band.
With KC it's: Lizard (1970) -- my fave KC album. Islands (1971) Larks' Tongues in Aspic (1973) With Pink Floyd these days it's: Ummagumma (1969) Atom Heart Mother (1970) -- my fave Floyd album. Meddle (1971) That said, I like all of the albums in the poll and don't have a strong preference. |

this might seem nit-picky, but in the run "Red" came after "Starless and Bible Black". my vote will go with Pink Floyd here, but I prefer Logan's runs (if he will allow me the pun; I know he is fond of the movie "Logan's Run")

KC for me. I like Wish you were here a lot but darkside is way too overplayed and animals is a bit overrated(although I do like dogs a lot). Larks tongues is one of my top ten favorite albums though and the two that followed it are both great too.
