Er...? is my answer.
Ok, I'll go Pink Floyd.

First vote cast! King Crimson this time.

Wish You Were Here is a masterpiece, so that pretty much wins it for me.

Neither of these is my favourite run by either band.

With KC it's:
Lizard (1970) -- my fave KC album.
Islands (1971)
Larks' Tongues in Aspic (1973)

With Pink Floyd these days it's:
Ummagumma (1969)
Atom Heart Mother (1970) -- my fave Floyd album.
Meddle (1971)

That said, I like all of the albums in the poll and don't have a strong preference.
Two tracks per many of my fave acts: A Youtube Playlist

this might seem nit-picky, but in the run "Red" came after "Starless and Bible Black". my vote will go with Pink Floyd here, but I prefer Logan's runs (if he will allow me the pun; I know he is fond of the movie "Logan's Run")

When cometh the day we lowly ones
Through quiet reflection, and great dedication
Master the art of karate
Lo, we shall rise up
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water
...a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined
to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

KC for me. I like Wish you were here a lot but darkside is way too overplayed and animals is a bit overrated(although I do like dogs a lot). Larks tongues is one of my top ten favorite albums though and the two that followed it are both great too.

Re-evaluating KC lately and they are much better than I thought they were decades ago. Still, they are no Pink Floyd. PF easily
