That would be considered abuse at RYM. At TYM I would reduce the trust rank of the user, since it skews the averages.

True, such situations rub ne the wrong way. maybe it's just me. We rarely know if such ratings or early reviews are legit or something shady is happening.

It already has ratings, to be released in a couple of weeks. Maybe it would be a good idea not to add albums so soon, that's an invitation for early ratings (and no one knows if it's abuse or that user has an early copy/promotion copy etc).

Someone did the same to me :/
The person responsible seems to have been banned since the ratings no longer show up when you check individual ratings, but they're still visible in the albums' overall rating.

the new Dream Theater album that is supposed to be released in a month or so has already got 8 ratings. Disapprove
