Linda Ronstadt appreciation thread!

I wish she was a folk singer... and british:) *or rather; how (preferably) little Like the Stone Poneys material? I don't think she used string until her work with Nelson Riddle. I only know her covers; did she write and record anything?

I got to know Buddy Holly and The Hollies through her covers. Charming lady and singer.

Ooh Baby Baby, this is what I've been waiting for! It's About Time we had a tribute thread to Linda Ronstadt. My Mad Love for Linda's lovely music is like a  Heat Wave burning in my heart. I've been a fan of Linda's for a Long Long Time now through the Tracks of My Years and I'm Willin' to bet their are many other fans of Linda Ronstadt here too. Just One Look at Linda's impressive discography reveals a plethora of classic evergreen songs that have really stood the test of time. It Hurts So Bad to know that Linda is travelling to the beat of a Different Drum these days as she battles Parkinson's disease and is no longer able to sing. Linda Ronstadt once asked Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow and my answer to Linda is I'm Crazy about you and I Will Always Love You today, tomorrow and for All of My Life. After all, It's So Easy to love Linda Ronstadt and if I ever stop listening to her marvellous songs and albums, then That'll Be the Day that I die.

^They were part of her backing band at Disney if i'm not mistaken. They played one gig together, then she helped them get a record deal.
