Indie Rock mainly, and also Shoegaze and some Post-Hardcore (At the Drive-In in particular). A lot of random stuff from other genres.

Besides prog (and how all-encompassing that is), I enjoy:
- classical
- jazz
- some classic rock
Yeah.

Other than prog basically just metal and classical music, and I listen to the occasional jazz record (usually something by either Miles Davis, Oscar Peterson or Charlie Parker) also I am a bit of a Grateful Dead fan.

Depending on the mood so it's varying .
Joe Satriani, Johnny Winter, S.R. & J. Vaughan, John Cambell.
Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, Neil Young.
Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Led Zeppelin, Madrugada, Blue Oyster Cult (What; not in the PA YET?)
Classical (lots of great stuff)
Even punk now and then!

Well, I voted "pop", meaning popular music in general, why not? Good pop music helps define other styles and society in general, but good pop music is sometimes hard to find!

let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword
