So if I understood correctly, let's say I'm looking at the page for A Saucerful of Secrets, and next to the album title I can click open a dropdown menu with all Pink Floyd studio releases (and the same way with for example Live at Pompeii and an openable list of videos)? That sounds really good Have you thought about bringing back the country links? It got some support in here: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=51596&PID=3939699&title=listing-by-country#3939699

^ I have other plan for the other album lists without listing them all on the sidebar it would be over loaded.
I want to , next to the album title, for example to be able to click on a button-like link that will open the list of all release in a sub-discography way to jump to another release fast. Sounds like a good compromise

As I said, the sig was a temporary thing and I generally do not make them huge like that. I'll get rid of it soon.
Didn't realize I was "moaning." I thought we were supposed to post our thoughts about the changes here. |

But it could be argued that the new size looked better and was an improvement. No one is correct about this. it's personal opinion obviously. I honestly like to see what avatar people have especially if they are really good. Of course you can open up the avatar in a new tab to see it but now I have no need to. I view this page zoomed in a bit anyway so maybe I was already used to it. And thanks for liking the dog. And M@X mentioned your sig and not mine because I wasn't moaning about the new look. And I think his point was that you complain about the Avatar size but don't mind having a huge sig....is that right M:@X?

Jim, the avatar size has just been reduced again. It's probably your browser that doesn't display the change yet.

Hoping for it I remember it was promised to come back when it was taken away for a reason or another (just after I made some suggestions to improve it), but as it's been some years since that happened, I thought it would be... forgotten, yes.

Sure there would. When something needs changing, people bring it up, and other people improve and fix it. In this case the forum looked awesome, there was no need for a monstrosity avatar. Though Snowie, of all the avatars out there, yours looks the best in the new size. That dog is great |

Looks about the same as Snowie's But yeah, it is too big. I just don't know how to make them smaller. I will get rid of this one soon, I only picked it because it was announcing a great new album. |

While we're on the subject of upgrades, I've got to ask you Max if the links to the bands-per-country listings are ever going to come back to the main site? As far as I know, right now the lists are accessible only through one specific thread in the Help us improve the site subforum. Not very handy.
I'm afraid I've lost all hope of the sidebar discography coming back...

Also if everyone applied the "If it ain't broke.." maxim there would be absolutely no progress anywhere.

I'm with Henry still. The previous size was more attractive and balanced on the forum page. The new size looks unnaturally large, blurry in some cases, and intrusive overall. JMO, but if it ain't broke....
