Man-Erg is one of my fave VDGG songs of all time...shoot it could be one of my fave songs of all time period, but I don't really consider it a "ballad" so I went with "House with no Door" Wink

World Record's Wondering is sorely missing among those listed ("Wait!").

What are your top 5 beside Man-erg?I'm curious.

1. Childlike Faith in Childhood's End
2. La Rossa
4. Scorched Earth
5. Pilgrims

Tie between Lost and House with no door . Voted for Lost (though I wouldn't call it a "ballad")
Would you catch the final words of mine?

As ballads go, House With No Door, but probably Man-Erg on the whole. Nice poll

Man-erg is my favourite song from the list but it is neither gentle nor a ballad.  House With No Door is my second favourite on the list and it is a gentle ballad so it gets my vote.

Man-Erg, although 'gentle' is not a word I'd use to describe it!

Man-Erg and Undercover Man are about tied, but gave it to the latter because it needs some help.

Another loose interpretation of ballad.

Lost.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.
