Low Spark's title track is worth alone the price of admission.

Traffic, The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys.

Now, Mick, I thought the whole point of this madness was to vote for the album, not the band.

done sitting here as well
Neither album is my favorite from each of them.
So Traffic gets the vote for all the other great albums they did.. as well as being a top 10 alltime favorite band. for all the other great albums. Loved the title track.. fabulous...the rest of the album was... OK.

I went with Traffic here. I did enjoy Triana's debut but this one not so much even though most prefer this over the debut. Oh and I have to say I look forward to these polls Saturday morning as I eat my bacon and eggs, I hope these polls go on for months. |
I haven't calculated it out yet.. but figure we still have 2 months doing the alternating classic/modern format. Perhaps less if I consolidate as we get deeper. Likely I won't as I sure some are tired of having 16 polls drop in push everything back.. soon we'd be going to 8 polls a week and think it is best to do that.
Of course the next contest is being worked on... at that rate.. billed as the Winter Madness pt 2.. perhaps it starts not long after this finishes hahaha

on second thought.. at a month a round (top half class/ top half mod/bottom half class/bottom half mod). this would take ..what 7 months to do. We'd be finishing this in December! I think that is a bit too long. Going to go with 16 polls per week for the next round, perhaps even the 4th. Saves probably 2 months there.

Triana is great, but Traffic has been one of my favorite bands since I started collecting records. In fact, Traffic, together with Genesis, motivated me in delving into bands' back catalogues. I don't like to vote against Triana, but I vote for Traffic.

Joe Shark Of Millweed Joys beats the Spanish. I prefer Triana's debut tbh.
