These who's better polls always irritate me a little......they are all very good drummers.
I like Bruford more simply because he was in Yes and KC....2 of my favorite bands and he did some jazz fusion I also liked quite a bit.

Wyatt and Moon The Loon

They seemed the more intuitive. Not sure they played a number exactly the same twice.

From what I've read, John Bonham felt the same way about who was on top. As for me, Buford and Collins rule the roost.

Peart and Portnoy. As much as like Mike Mangini,Dream Theater still miss MP.However this is beneficial to both Transatlantic and Neal Morse who now have the services of MP full time!

Broford out of these, but I prefer Jerzy Piotrovski at the moment.

Probably Bru but I do love me some Palmer, one of those on-the-edge guys when rock was more about heart than precision.

Peart is more machine than man, and Mike Annoy, I mean Portnoy, is a bit of a w**ker.

Bruford, and Bruford.

Well, Phil Collins deserves to be a part of any list of great drummers, alongside Messrs Bruford & Peart.
