Topic: Tori Amos vs PJ Harvey vs Björk Posted: August 31 2016 at 00:21
my vote goes to Björk, but it would have been interesting to have Joni Mitchell on the list. O am actually surprised that she is not in the archives; she would deserve to be in prog-related at least. just think of albums like "Hejira"

My friend Greg , may he rest in peace, would have voted immediately for Amos ...he was a big fan of hers and we saw her over 15 years ago and she was very good. P J Harvey is also interesting but I never really cared for Bjork. ......so Amos I suppose, though personally I don't listen all that much to 'quirky' female singer songwriters. My loss ....I guess.

she has a style like no one elses, a style of herself. And is also able to reinvent herself.

three artist whom with their singer-songwriter based music also opened up for straight out art rock flourishes which helped challange and expand their base sound.
Three unique singers and inspiration to plenty of future bands and artists. artsists with integrity and natural ability and ear for interesting chords and instrumentation.
which of these three gems of art rock and pop do you like the most.
