That solo by Allan Holdsworth was light years ahead of its time. UK no question.

Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

U.K. all the way. That record is timeless. What a line up!

I love 5 of 6 there (the one I don't care for being the current leader).

But as much as I love the other four, there's no way I'm not voting for the U.K. song here.  That whole album is spectacular.

All great songs, but "Inca Roads" tops my list.

UK's In the Dead of Night, especially the entire trio related to that song, is the best, but this is very closely followed by Zappa's Inca Roads, which I also love..  School, the Supertramp opener for their amazing "Crime of the Century" album comes in third.

Moodies. Although if the choice had been “Sirius / Eye in the Sky,” I still would’ve gone with “I’m Just a Singer...”

Inca Roads for me...
He neither drank, smoked, nor rode a bicycle. Living frugally, saving his money, he died early, surrounded by greedy relatives. It was a great lesson to me -- John Barrymore
