Come ooon... Not again these albums. LOL
I love both equally, of course (and this is what I chose), but haven't we overpolled them already?

Neither are in my favourites, but DSOTM beats CTTE easily.  In fact I prefer all the PF albums that I own over CTTE.....

I'm not a big fan of CTTENuke

'Close to the edge' is the winner, I still prefer "Tales from topographic oceans" but CTTE is almost equaly brilliant and beats Dark side for me (which I like quite a lot). But to even consider PF against Yes You would have to put Ummagumma - than I would choose both equaly.

Definitely Close to the Edge. If the Pink Floyd choice was Wish You Were Here, then this would be a lot more difficult
Take me down, to the underground
Won't you take me down, to the underground
Why oh why, there is no light
And if I can't sleep, can you hold my life

Both great albums, needless to say.  Gave the nod to DSOTM as there is something uncanny and bitter about it that appeals to me whereas I don't quite know what the tracks on CTTE are really about, as gorgeous as they are.

As for CTTE, it obviously beats out Floyd in this case, but I also don't think it's the best Yes album like most people think.
It's fantastic, but not the best.

And the best Yes album in your opinion would be.........?

I can't separate them but neither could I call them equal so it's undecided for me.
