The most surprising result in this entire series of polls where a complete unknown goes on to win the poll, but it appears Moon Safari are known to almost everyone here but me if the result of this poll is anything to go by. Anyway, I can add Moon Safari to my list of known unknown bands now, as opposed to an unknown unknown band - to paraphrase Donald Rumsfeld. Smile

Don't go wobbly on me, Jared - unless of course, you're voting for Wobbler. Tongue

As of yet Paul, I haven't heard any of their music... Embarrassed

Thanks. I must have been confusing it with Enya's song. Embarrassed

I use they/them pronouns (feel free to ask me about this!)

Check out my music on my bandcamp!

My guess is that you don't know that North Sea Radio Orchestra album, and that you'll like it.

I was thinking the same thing
That and the Birds and Buildings album are excellent (in very different ways).
Soldato of the Pan Head Mafia. We'll make you an offer you can't listen to.

Beautifully put, it certainly is a fine album😎

completely missed that when I scanned the list , but yes I echo those sentiments. It's also noteworthy that it features vocal by the late Dave Longdon on a couple of tracks shortly before he joined Big Big Train. (Nick D'Virgillio also plays on most of the album , actually its quite a line up with Andy Edwards , Steve Thorne, Gary Chandler, John Mitchell and Mike Holmes also contributing)
