Mil gracias Cucacola54.

I happen to love italian prog even more than british itself, I know that maybe it´s all influenced by the giants as ELP, King Crimson and others; but I prefer Le Orme over ELP, Semiramis - Dedicato a Frazz over any Gabriel-era Genesis album, Zarathustra  over any Yes album, and so on. All I got to say is italian prog is the best thing I´ve ever heard in my life.

Italian prog is just as important to me as British and German prog.  The number of quality one shot releases is incredible in the Italian genre.  I wonder what kind of further quality releases bands would have released if they only had the backing and money.  We would have a lot more classics.

Bands like BANCO, PFM, LE ORME, CELESTE, LATTE E MIELE, QUELLA VECCHIA LOCANDA, I DALTON and many more are among my favorites. This site offers useful information about many Italian bands. By the way, pay attention to Andrea Cortese's reviews, they are very interesting and informative.

I always liked PFM, had a bunch of the LPs in the 70s including the first two (as imports).  Now I'm starting to get their Cds.  I always smile when i put on "Cook" so that I guess would be my first choice.  Recently I purchased Ulisse its entirely different but an interesting work compared to their earlier works.  Judging from the post looks like I should get some Goblin !!
