For your consideration/interest...

 (To King Volta: Don't worry King Volta, Co and Ca's story is just as hard, perhaps harder to decipher then TMV, serious Sci-fi for sci-fi and fantasy geeks like me lol).

I didn't mean they were the exact stories behind the albums but that is what the band said. But like ben (king volta) said they are both albums that allow people to make up their own opinions which i theory is what most music is about, creating a mood and emotions, some form of story for people to read into in their own way.

Yeah the stories were both based on those instances and that's where all the
emotion is coming from but that doesn't mean they kept it straight forward.

To King Volta: Thanks a lot, I wanted to actually take the time to pick apart
the album but this semester's coming to an end and I've got tons of finals
coming up. It was rewarding to read this and get an idea of what the album
is about. I was trying to figure this out earlier today actually. The album is
extremely interesting and the best of '05 by far IMO. I can't wait to hear a
long discography from TMV. I'm expecting great things.

King VOlta your theories are very interesting and allow some of it to make sense (if you have time could try and make snse of Coheed and Cambria for me? lol, perhaps I should do that myself for discustion on here) but If im allowed to add something that may help you everyone else make sense of it all....

The story of Francis is based on a diary found by their ex-sound/wierd noises guy (he died in a car accident before they done the 2nd album R.I.P). He used to work as a dusbinman (garbage man for all the americans out there) and he found this diray of someones in an abandoned car, he wasn't sure where this person had gone but kept it and showed it to the band and it was someone in search of their real parents.

De-Loused is about a boheimean artist friend of theirs who was alittle bit enccentirc/mad and use to inject rat poison into himself, he in turn became deformed and slowly poisoned by it and went into a coma and died, de-loused is apparently what the band thought he may be dreaming/thinking about in his coma.

Iv not made this up it came from the band themselves, straight from the horses mouth!

alright, I am now putting my work efforts towards a +De-loused Storybook Translation" and it is rather harder than I thought due to the length of the composition...so bear with me. I will post the translation/story in this thread as soon as I'm done with it, and I am composing it like such: I will combine thought of my own with thoughts of other people to give you all the correct overall (what I hear the most) story of De-loused. De-loused is not like the Mute where there are various theories, it has only one correct story--the one reflected in confusing metaphors in the storybook and even deeper/more confusing metaphors on the actualy album. I am officilly working, and thanks for your support!

I'll get work work on De-loused as soon as I can...in the meantime (it won't exactly "clear things up" but it is an interesting read) i'd suggest downloading the "De-loued Storybook" which is availible at the comatorium. Follow these instructions:

4. on this thread look for the "Important Posts" topic, and in these sub-threads one will be listed "De-loused Storybook download" or something along those lines.

Well.. obviously it's really hard to understand what's behind the lyrics on either one of TMV's albums. You need a friggin decoder to solve De-loused  . I've just tried to concentrate on the amazing music and not think about the lyrics too much, because I want to remain sane.  But the lyrics are definitely interesting, and even the language and the words used are pretty innovative.

Yes anytime...if it is requested I will also compile the data I have collected on De-loused in the Comatorium for those that are interested. I am glad that you all enjoy these theories, but remember that there are ever more on the Comatorium...I higly suggest you check them out. Also, soon I will be posting another plausible theory for Frances the Mute for you all to digest. I am really glad you all are enjoying this but remember to give due credit where it is needed!
