I love the way that Carlos sounds like a horn section on part of this glorious instrumental track.

A treble when originally released on vinyl, reduced to a double for the CD issue

One that hasn't been mentioned yet: Focus 3

GYBE! - Lift Your...

GG - Playing The Fool

Floyd - Umma Gumma

The Softs - Third

Generally though, double albums tend to be pushing it. TFK's Unfold The Future springs to mind. There was a mind-blowing single disc in there somewhere, we got a flabby double one instead.

Soft Machine : Third
Soft Machine: BBC 1967-1971
Who: Quadaphrenia
Chicago: Chicago Transit Authority (and I've gone round full circle and stand Free Form Guitar, once more)

I like many other double albums, but can't take them in one sitting, unlike the above.
