Not sure about Jon or Savatage but Chris Caffery has something new out. I heard some songs and parts of an interview the other night but I didn't get the full scoop. I couldn't tell if it's a solo or a Doctor Butcher thing. Anyway what I heard sounded nice and prog metaly. Something to look for anyway if you like the guitar work in Savatage. I had Wake in a few weeks ago and I gotta agree it's good all round and has something great for everyone.

Is Savatage still together? I was listening to Wake of Magellan today, great concept album. I know Jon Oliva (Keyboardist and mainsong writer) formed a new band called Jon Oliva´s Pain.
Is it any good? Any other recommendations from Jon Oliva or Savatage?
