Topic: Favorite hated album Posted: February 16 2007 at 05:15 |
everyone should hear Black Sunday on "A". And there's other good songs, too, though they're little bit weird, not 80s pop but some.. i don't know. Listen. But I realize why some people hate it.. there's 4wd drive, and electronic, and the 80s..

I never had the problems With Big Generator that many have...Relative to most other Yes albums it isn't one of the best, but I still think it is a very good album....
Also....I actually like AMLOR beter than some Waters era PF albums ....

A Momentary Lapse of reason is a great album that showed us that musically, David Gilmour is Pink Floyd while lyrically, Waters is Pink Floyd.
An underrated gem in my opinion.

I don't think PT has made their "Love Beach" or "Big Generator" yet, and I am hopeful that they never will have to... |

Yeah, it's really more "ignored" than "hated."

What is "Porcupine Tree - "On The Sunday of Life..." doing on this list? This is a great work by the mighty SW. He's at his most Beatle-esque on this.

On the Sunday of Life.... It's the only one of the choices I've heard, and it's a very good album, albeit a little strange at points. I do intend to get A Momentary Lapse of Reason at some point though.

I agree. It was a fantastic album.

It sure is amasterufl album, but I agree with Z, it was not part of the poll nor is there any "other" option... is it so impossible to just pick from the choices? Should we alwways have to act like if we always like something different than the rest? Should The T be nominated for the nobel prize?

A.
Pretty solid album overall.
The same could be said about AMLOR and OTSOL, which get 2nd and 3rd for me.

A momentary lapse isnt all that bad. Love beach actually has a decent concept piece on it.
