I voted for Three Boats Down From the Candy. How could this be a B side, its far better than Market Square Heroes (which i love). The vocals are brilliant especially when he's like "i'm a poet, i'm a poet" fantastic. And its got an immense guitar part that just makes you want to jive.
Another emotional suicide, overdosed on sentiment and pride

Forgotten Sons because of the great blend of music and lyrics, the emotional overtones and the splendid grand finale Clap Others: Chelsea Monday and Grendel Thumbs%20Up

For those who know Marillion properly this is their best and most expressive period , for those who don`t ...  let marbles capture their imaginations  Confused

I went with warm wet circles that song is so expressive

my favourite recorded was Grendel and there are a host of others: Garden Party, Script, The Web, Chelsea Monday, Assassing, Tux On etc ...  but listening to Forgotten Sons at the gig in Maysfield in Belfast tops the lot.

Ditto. Though I voted for "Other" for some strange reason.

Script
Incubus
Fugazi
Warm Wet Circles/That Time of the Night (Hotel Hobbies should be part of this, too)
Sugar Mice
White Russian
Blind Curve

Script for a Jester's Tear. The emotion in that song is outstanding.

Why does everyone like Grendel? It's not even that good...
