when in a poll, there is a 'Tool' option all the others get blurry...
-music is like pornography...

sometimes amateurs turn us on, even more...

-sometimes you are the pigeon and sometimes you are the statue...

I love Jethro Tull - one of the most consistent (although quite repetitive) prog-bands. And it's definitely getting much votes here - perfectly deserved.
Tool - as a modest newbie here I'd rather abstain from any comments, but it's not something I would ever recommend to anyone.
Thule - based on one album I've heard by them, I can't say there is something special about this band.
And Taal - this is embodied PROG of today - best band of this Millenium so far and hardly beatable by any other band.
I am so happy to see this band is known here and obviosly got some fans. The only thing that bothers me a bit - I do not quite understand what these 4 bands have in common (except for some phonetical similarities of their names) and how they can be compared.

Just an observation.

Do you mean that one could draw a conclusion from this poll that avantheads are chatterboxes, whereas alternative prog-metal fans are as silent as grass? Tongue

LOL no, no, it would be too vague generalisation, I would not even imply that Tool's fans can't express themselves properly Tongue
