priceless, are you really sure you're not British?
You know Micky, jokes aren't funny if they carry on for two sentences two many. Not even sentences of a size that Dubya can understand without you having to repeat them.... EDIT: I have to admit though that Dubya probably said 'AOR considered prog' exactly the way you typed it Edited by Angelo - April 15 2007 at 13:15 |

I loved the comment about Neal Morse! His holier-than-thou attitude gets on my threepenny bits!
I nominated Gentle Giant as a band Dubya couldn't comprehend.

I don't think words like progressive and Bush should be used in one sentence.
I think though he will like Yezda Urfa. some text for Bush to memorise:
Tenure for farmers or those who will use their hands working
manure into third world lands. Complicate twist around words of the headless clown new world religion will thusly espouse. |

I think this is one case where we already know what the history books are going to say. A lot of people were trying to keep thinking positive, but there is just too much to ignore now. |

Just to play devils advocate, and ask any of my friends they'll tell you I'm a Bush basher, I just want to point out there is NO knowing how the future will look at him. 20, 30 years from now when he is long gone, and everything is out there, we might revise our opinions.
Dwight Eisenhower was not thought of in great light, but today is pretty respected.
Harry Truman had the lowest approval ratings ever, and today is usually near the top of lists. Edited by JJLehto - April 11 2007 at 23:22 |

Respect is earned and/or quickly lost, especially by this bumbling moron we call a President. Edited by Atavachron - April 11 2007 at 23:15 |

True point. I despise Bush, but he is still the President of our country. Besides, he's not that bad a guy IMO. I do think he's doing what is best in his mind, he's just naive and in a bubble world, at least partially, set up by his advisors.
And there were many worse Presidents indeed.
And G.W.B. likes Pink Floyd?

Bush likes Pink Floyd; I heard that he told someone he was upset with MTV's butchering of their reunion coverage. But that may have been hearsay. In other news, you are all jerks. I don't like Bush either, but have some f**king respect. And Bush isn't even close to being the worst president.

I'm guessing you dislike Reagan, too. Wow, you don't think Harding is the worst president? He and Grant are FAR worse than Bush. Bush isn't great, but he certainly isn't the worst. Hell, Coolidge did NOTHING, Gerald Ford did squat, and Carter handled situations just as bad if not worse than Bush. Edited by Arrrghus - April 11 2007 at 21:46 |

Don't know about Bush...but Cheney would go for Tool, or any dark prog band. Seeing how he is the spawn of Satan and all....
And that IQ gag is cold. I think Bush is intelligent, I mean he went to Yale!
His father had NOTHING to do with it I'm sure.

I would have to vote for Tool's 10,000Days album. If you have ever read the lyrics to Vicarious, you'd understand.
"Vicariously eye, watch while the whole world dies..." Obviously a direct insult... Edited by yface1 - April 11 2007 at 12:53 |
