Put out one of the best albums of the year, but I don't see prog really.

Great guy, but I don't see him as a prog artist.

He was black metal and know he's shoegazer, but both genres aren't really that progressive to begin with. Souvernirs D'un Autre Monde is a good album, though.

I'm from the Post-Rock team so don't take my word seriously since the Prog Metal team will be the ones who'll decide if he gets added or not.

Alcest is a one man project that originally played black metal but progressed over time to fuse black metal with other elements, such as ambient, shoegaze, and post-rock.
