Except that Pestilence and Death entered into the domain of "softer brutality" (still more brutal than Cynic, though...).

I like them alot, but I don't know if they belong here. The singer's solo project might work for Prog Folk though!

I don't think Nile is the band which should have its PA profile. They are skilled musicians and all that, but if Nile would have, then why wouldn't Hypocrisy (for an example) have its profile and many other bands, which members are technically very skilled.

Nile is a very interesting death metal act with epic tracks that could fit into tech/ extreme but overall they are more a brutal death metal act than a progressive one to these ears and they have been rejected in the past.

Oh, already rejected.
Hmm, such a typical (?) death metal like them cannot be fit here ... ? Edited by DamoXt7942 - June 07 2010 at 04:35 |

They're under evaluation by the Prog Metal team but have only "No" votes until now.

Quick checking their samples.
Interesting distorted death metal stuffs, dunno whether they can be fit for Tech / Extreme Prog Metal, though. |

Does Nile deserve to be on the archives? They certainly have many epic songs, not to mention their uncompromised technicality.
