Seriously, "Desire" and "Wealth" need more votes. And I love both "I Believe In You" and "Wealth" equally, but in this case my vote goes to the latter. The most ambient of all the tracks on the album. A soulful voice + a powerful organ + a tranquil piano + a solid refrain + great chord changes = a winning recipe.

I voted for "Desire" - I love how it builds to an almighty crescendo at the end of each lyrical verse and the finale is reminiscent of some of the finest post-rock around!

Love, love this album. I prefer Laughing Stock though. 1. I Believe In You 2. The Rainbow 3. Wealth 4. Eden 5. Inheritance 6. Desire Love I Believe In You. It's just so relaxing to listen to, and the combo of the lyrics and vocals is absolutely gorgeous.

"The Rainbow." That moment of "calm between the storm" melts me every time I hear it. The entire first side is brilliant, of course, but I think that "Wealth" is an absolutely, achingly achieved, underrated gem, so that'd be my second.

Great album! Voted for The Rainbow, which left one of the best first impressions in my recent music listening.

Eden is the one I have been most excited about. And I've been hearing Eden a lot from a playlist that I included it in. Now I'm more keen to hear the other songs again to refresh my memory. They all have their qualities.
But I'll go for my initial reaction and vote for Eden, even if I'm slightly tired of it. Nice feeling, the drum groove is cool, nice tom tom sound.

Every Talk Talk album was a giant leap from the one before. Laughing Stock is their best work.

Quite possibly my favorite album of all time. Check out this video mashup of I Believe in You.

Promptly blown away with that track.

What an amazing album, probably the best ever post rock album.
It's so difficult to choose one part of the album over another, but I'll go with the amazing Desire as it hasn't got a vote so far.
