Absolutely ! DRAMA is the most underrated YES album, it's one of their classics, despite it was 1980, no Rick and no Jon, it's strange but it's more YES than all the other albums released since 90125 on.

Whilst the samples sound better than I expected them to, I'm not sure this will be anything particularly special. It all sounds a bit too safe and mid-tempo for my liking. Mind you, they're only samples so I'll try to reserve judgement for the time being.

Really agree with the first statement---where there is Howe---there is Yes---and BTW with all the negative things Jon A has said about Yes west over the past 25 years and forming ABWH to get away from that sound---the fact that he's now all positive about making music with Rabin again may be the real going for the brass ring one more time. Having said that---I still wish Jon was on the new Yes album, but the guys are now able to express themselves more freely without Jon taking over the project totally and completely (with only partial success here and there) like he has for many years.

The only positive thing that I can say about Downes is that I prefer him to Oliver Wakeman.  As for the others (including Benoit) I have positive expectations.

The more god Howe is on the album the more it will sound like a real Yes album---and less like a group trying to sound like Yes---

I'm interested in hearing the whole album. It may just as well be good, but it sounds a bit patchy in the video posted here (obviously, since it's incomplete bits of many songs). I'm glad to hear Bonoit singing rather nicely, just as I hoped him to sound better doing his own new songs instead of those originally sung by Anderson. Still, he is obviously no Anderson, I think there just won't be another one like him.

Sounds interesting, I'll definitely be getting it. I hadn't realised the title song had already been on a Buggles album.

Insipid lyrics, but the composition style is pretty good.  I'm looking forward to giving this one a chance.

So is the opening epic one long piece - that flows from track to track like one long song?

Interesting to see discover that while I thought Benoit can sound exactly like Jon when playing Yes material, he doesn't remind me of Jon anymore now that they're playing new, original material.

I also noticed that!  Is that Benoit, or Trevor?

Still sounds like Starcastle to me, but I'd need to hear the entire CD before I give it thumbs up or down.

Based on the iTunes samples I would say a great production (I also liked the production on 90125) but doesn't this sound more like Asia? Perhaps not a surprise as they have been much more visible the last couple of years with both Downes and Howe.

I would purchase it just for the guitar and bass work of Mr's Howe and Squire.
