He could, just by stating what he was reviewing. Simple enough, but I feel the tide of opinion is against me on this one.

It is normal to just add the info of newer versions to previous releases. See the "Henry Cow Debacle"

Regular albums are regular albums. I don't see the problem that they initially were boxed as a limited edition.
It's a similar case as with the "Vie Electronique" releases.

I think they should be added separately;  the box sets are long ago deleted from KS' catalog, and he's making all the material available in individual/smaller packages.

I don't know.

But yes, all the releases I added are available as separate albums. It is a bit weird with KS because he released several box sets through his own mail order but then later re-released the material through a distributor.

Is it acceptable for me to add more albums, Snow Dog?

I don't know...what does everyone else think?

Yeah, they're individually available, I think...I'm pretty sure I've seen Ballett 3 and 4 on Wayside, I'll double check.

Edit: Yep, they're all individually available.

It's the same situation as with Ballett 1 which I added some time ago as a studio album. It also originally appeared on Contemporary Works I.

Besides, I have just noticed that the thread starter added also Ballett 2, Ballett 3 and Ballett 4 into the Boxset & Compilations section whereas in the Contemporary Works I entry it says: CD #1 (Vanity Of Sounds), #2 (The Crime Of Suspence), #6 (Ballett 1) and #7 (Ballett 2) of this set have been re-released as individual albums. So, it seems that Ballett 3 and Ballett 4 shouldn't have been added as separate albums (or maybe they were released separately later?).

So crime of suspenese is a regular studio album? But the collection with the same material came before it? Not like Foxtrot at all.

the Contemporary Works I & II were limited edition boxsets. "Crime of suspense" is one of the many albums that are given a separate release and actually deserves a spot amongst the regular discography (not the fan/boxset/ep section)

Deleting them is a bit like deleting Foxtrot because that material also appears in the Genesis Box Wink

I think this entry needs to be deleted if it is already here in another form. Please do not add any more

In the album information section, I mistakenly stated the material originally appeared on Contemporary Works II. It actually first appeared on Contemporary Works I.
