Two of my favorite guitarrists. But I prefer Latimer. He plays with his heart.

Recently started geting into Camel, but even though I have liked them pretty much, I still prefer Gilmour.

Noy only Ice, but Lady fantasy, stationary traveler, fingertips, Rajaz, Hopeless anger, Drafted .... on the other side you have shine on you crazy diamond, dogs, comforably numb, and many more..... but the deepest feelings are gotten by latimer, for me Andrew is the most under rated player of all times, time will tell.... I love them bothbut my choice is for andrew.

I love Pink Floyd, and Gilmour is in no small way responsible for that. Perhaps I should check out Latimer.

The tie thus far says it all. These two are virtually impossible to separate, and I just can't choose.

Latimer is absolutely wonderful, very versatile, with a great tone and feel, just like Gilmour. But when it comes to creating fabulous solos, Dave's the man.

I think this is the Ultimate Poll. Asked to create my own fantasy band, I ended up putting both of these two in it, both on lead and both on rhythm.
I'll go with my gut and vote for Andy, for one main reason: "Ice".

Both excellent guitarist and composers; a very hard choice indeed. I will have to really think about it before voting. I like both a lot and equally.
