Aquarium Rescue Unit is a cool one to check out. Not prog but defiantly some jazz fusion influence with a Stevie Ray Vaughan flavor. Real good musicians.

Exactly. Not many more to add to that list except for maybe Marillion, Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree(who are sort of implied with SW). I guess also some bands we don't love because we haven't heard them yet. Edit: I suppose you could toss in Gentle Giant and the Moody Blues also.

Every band we love on here that isn't Yes, Genesis, Steven Wilson, Pink Floyd, Rush, Kansas, Jethro Tull, ELP, King Crimson or Pink Floyd.

I just got the album Remedies, from the band Soup. I just found it wonderful and I believe they should be better known/apreciated. I still got to hear their other albums.

Just about any good prog band that isn't Yes, Genesis, ELP, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, Jethro Tull, Rush, Marillion, Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree which is to say 99 percent of them.

They're just flash objects (not malware infection), and I've had this happen before on this site (using Chrome browser) when people embed YouTube videos using the full URL instead of just the 11-digit identifier between the two sets of brackets, and they don't embed properly. Annoying problem I know, but just discard the download when Chrome prompts you that it might harm your computer.

I guess Georgius would count as obscure. I just found about him and got his two albums, and they are really wonderful, he really should get more credit.

Ditto to the above, I'm getting auto-downloads off this thread.
In regard to obscure prog worth hearing, check out Dominique Guiot's "L'Univers De La Mer."

Weidorje - Not sure if this is classified as obscure, but I wish more people knew about them and gave them a listen.
